Nature of Gothic was a show curated by Past Present Projects featuring artists Leo Tecosky and Samara Weaver at the Rockwood Museum in Delaware. I talked to both artists and checked out their work and made a soundtrack for the exhibition based around their art and their likes. Leo likes a lot of beat-heavy hip hop so I made a Pete Rock style mix of instrumental tunes reflecting that. Since their rooms were side by side, I made Samara’s soundtrack a little more airy and ambient but layered it over Leo’s soundtrack so they work side by side. They’re not necessarily meant to be listened to together but they blend harmoniously when you walk in between rooms.
